Peterson’s Mill in North Branch is now proudly carrying Wapiti Labs products for happy, healthy pets!
The original “Mill” dates back to its beginnings in 1897. It was started as a rye flour
mill that was steam powered producing it’s own brand of flour called “Model Home Flour”.
It continued milling flour until 1954 at which time it was discontinued making rye flour
and was converted to a feed mill.
In 1956 the patriarch of the Peterson family, Burt Peterson, purchased the “Mill”.
The company has grown over the years to provide many more products and services.
In 1999 the Home & Garden retail store was added that serves homeowners, pet lovers and
hobby farmers with a wide variety of products and services. We are closing in on
sixty years of service and is being managed by third generation “Petersons”.
